What I do outside Scouting....

I am a Learning Support Coordinator in a primary school and wife & mother respectively to Stuart and our 2 grown up children Murray & Laura. With my spare time I enjoy genealogy.

Why I got involved with Scouting...

My Dad was Chairman of the 52nd Glw Group years ago, my 2 brothers were in the Group, I was a Brownie & Guide and then married a Scouter so the transition to Scouting just seemed to happen. Itís great fun and the energy/enthusiasm of Beavers can be a great tonic to the hectic lives we all seem to live.

What I do outside Scouting....

I have a MSc. in Medical Genetics and work as a research scientist for a local company. I am also a keen curler and Assistant Coach at Braehead curling rink.

Why I got involved with Scouting...

I joined Scouting in 2007 as an Explorer Scout after many years of attending events with my parents. I attended Blair Atholl International Patrol Jamborette in 2008 and again in 2010 and have never looked back. I enjoy seeing the Beavers develop over their 2 years in the Colony before they move on to Cubs ready for the next challenge.

What I do outside Scouting....

I am a Tax Inspector! I have four sons and one daughter, who keep me busy. I like playing tennis, not very well though and I am a regular at Sherbrooke St Gilberts Church.

Why I got involved with Scouting...

I got involved with Scouting as all four of my sons have been at the 159th from Beavers to Scouts. I have had great fun at Auchengillan, summer BBQs ,helping out at Beavers and continue to do so.
